Orange Fruitcake Jumbles
These were developed in 2004 for the first Flagler County Master Gardeners Citrus Festival held at Washington Oaks State Park in Palm Coast. The fruit used in this recipe is simmered in fresh orange juice and flavored with orange and lemon zest. And if you're into fiber, not only are they loaded with fruit and nuts but these delights are enhanced with steel-cut oats and toasted wheat germ. Each quarter-pound cookie explodes with citrus and spice from your first bite to the last.
Available year-round in two cookie snack packs or by the dozen.
